Hailing from Sandton, South Africa, Joanne holds a Food Service Management Diploma as well as Lead Auditor ISO 22 000 and a Higher Certificate in Business Analysis. With over 30 years' experience in the hospitality industry, half of which was in elder care and hospitals, Renewal’s mission to support older adults living with cognitive change piqued Joanne’s interest. Joanne enjoys the variety and scope of work that Renewal Memory Partners offers, including utilizing her hospitality skills to create a high-touch experience for clients, community partners, and Care Partners. When she is not working, Joanne enjoys maximizing the South African climate by staying active outdoors both on land and in the sea and prioritizing family time with her two sons.
