After completing a BS in Nursing at Saint Louis University, Katie moved to Chicago where she has spent 13 years working as a nurse and nurse manager in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Katie also earned an MS in Nursing with a concentration in Health Policy in 2021. She has experience in a variety of nursing fields including orthopedics, trauma, and birth care, and is thrilled to apply her breadth of expertise to now help clients living with dementia and their families. Katie was drawn to Renewal because of their focus on exceptional client support and is excited to work on a team where this is a top priority. Around Chicago, you can find Katie reading, biking, visiting art museums, doing crosswords, cooking, and shopping secondhand. Katie grew up on a farm and enjoys maintaining this connection to the earth by working in her garden and spending lots of time outside.
