Robin’s distinguished career in geriatrics has spanned over forty years as a leading physician, administrator, educator, and researcher. He has served as the Director of Geriatric Medicine at Montefiore Medical Center and Maimonides Medical Center, and on faculty at Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons and Cornell Medical Center, among others. His numerous awards include a fellowship at the American Geriatrics Society, and his research has been published in peer-reviewed journals, including The American Journal of Geriatric Cardiology. Born in Scotland, Robin received a Specialist Accreditation in Geriatric Medicine at the University of Glasgow, and his MD from the University of the State of New York. He enjoys gardening, food and wine, and travel.
